Airport High School
Tuesday and Thursday 7:05 a.m. - 12:05 p.m.
Wednesday 7:00 a.m. - 2:14 p.m.
Middle School
Monday and Wednesday 7:05 a.m. - 12:05 p.m.
Tuesday 7:05 a.m. - 2:14 p.m.
The library is open before school. Students may check out or return books,
study quietly, or do school-related work on a computer. Computer use is
restricted to, checking grades, or working on a school assignment. The library
is not open after school.
Behavior in the Library
- Students may talk in the library but are asked to use appropriate voice levels.
- Students must refrain from running and horseplay.Food and beverages are not allowed.
- Students are encouraged to browse through the books.
- Books that have been used in the library should be returned to the re-shelving cart.
- The books and computers should be treated with care.
- Students must respect other students and teachers in the library.
Book Check Out Rules
- Students may have three books checked out at any given time.
- The loan period is fifteen school days.
- Books may be returned before the due date.
- Students should return books by placing them in the book drop at the front desk.
- A book may be renewed two times. If there is a hold on the book, however, the
book may not be renewed.
- If a book is overdue, a fine of five cents a day will be assessed. Fines will not be
assessed for days that fall on weekends and holidays.
- If a book is long overdue or lost, the student will be charged the cost of replacing
the book. Fines and bills must be paid in cash.
- If the lost book bill has been paid and the book is found, the student will be
refunded the money.
- Students may not check out a book if there is an outstanding overdue, fine, or bill.
